The Brave Whistler is a man who discovers his life purpose and shares his talent with the world. When he brings his passion for whistling to the people of a small kingdom, he is confronted by the ruler for breaking his strict laws.
Through his courageous example he influences others to find their own life purpose and even the king learns a lesson in humility and self transformation. This tale, written for children and adults of all ages, is about finding purpose and meaning, change, personal freedom, and bravely speaking the truth.
The Brave Whistler Release: Hardcover book is now available for pre-order through Barnes and Noble. The release date is May 16, 2023:
We are working on getting this set up through other sellers as well. The paperback is schedule for release by June 2023 and more details will follow.
Scary but Silly Stories:
The first book, “Floating Talking Pumpkin Head” is still in production and we are still targeting a Fall 2023 release. Please stay tuned to our Facebook Page (available in the navigation bar) for some concept art.
Adventures and Musings:
Our second installment is another story featuring adventures using the Imagination Powered Rocket Pack. This month's story focuses on using the imagination for problem solving and turning a bad situation around. We include questions at the end to help engage critical thinking and comprehension. Future posts in this section may include excepts from other projects we are working on, other standalone stories, or even concepts.

Creations
Welcome to Mind Journey Creations! We are a studio that tells inspiring and entertaining
stories. As you can see from our homepage we will be releasing the first book, the Brave
Whistler in less than two months. This has been a work in progress for over six years. This
first book, has a classic and almost timeless feel and message to it, and is meant to take us
back to the stories of old while being very relevant today. Fully illustrated and written for
children, we want adults to enjoy it as well, as there are layers of meaning woven into the
story.
Later this year, we plan on releasing another book - The Floating Talking Pumpkin Head - the first in the Scary but Silly Stories series. We have an excerpt and short description on our homepage for this and other books in development. This whimsical and entertaining story features juvenile humor, and a little bit of bathroom humor, since admittedly some of us refuse to completely grow up. Don't worry though, it's mom approved.
The Musings and Adventures page will showcase different stories, adventures, vignettes, and ideas from the minds of our creators. This is a free content section of the website, and we will include downloadable PDFs. The first entry is a short adventure of a young boy using his Imagination-Powered-Rocket-Pack ™ (IPRP)™. The artwork on this first piece was created using MidJourney's AI tool, which is great for concept art. Our for-sale books and other content typically use the art of real artists, like featured illustrator David Burns.
